I took a week trip down to The Villages to see Big Hank and Sweetie and then enjoyed a great month in Butcher’s Hill Baltimore catching up with loads of friends and family including Artscape. We went to Pimlico the day before the Preakness. John made a skirt for his mom (see photo). Saw the Orioles play the Cards with Patrick, Marie, and the boys. And ate lots of crab cakes!!

April 4 - May 2, 2025: Richmond, VA
We stayed right in the VCU campus across from Catholic cathedral (note black bunting for Pope Francis). It was such a fun neighborhood. I loved all the row houses and great museums. The food was great and we had fun at the Flying Squirrels minor league game. We caught up with local friends in Richmond and Charlottesville and also took a fun weekend trip to see friends in Virginia Beach.

March 4 - April 4, 2025: Savannah, GA
A good month, enjoying beautiful Savannah. Patrick came to visit and I reread “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” and we made sure to check out all the landmarks. The St. Patrick’s Day parade was a great spectacle. Tybee Island was delightful. Lots of interesting historic houses to explore.

Petting zoo and “monkey jockeys riding dog” races. Plus corn dogs!

January 31 - March 2, 2025: New Orleans, LA
This was a fun month with lots of visitors and family to explore the city and food of New Orleans together! It was great to catch four Mardi Gras parades before we moved on. We can’t wait to return.
